Shoreview North Oaks Animal Hospital is owned and operated by Emilee Alms, D.V.M., and her husband Kip. They are residents of the Arden Hills community, and are excited to provide top-notch care to the animals in their neighborhood.

Emilee Alms
Veterinarian
Dr. Emilee grew up in the neighboring community of Circle Pines, and she is excited to provide veterinary services to the pets in our community. In 2009, she earned her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from the University of Minnesota College of Veterinary Medicine. {Read More about Dr. Emilee}
Lynne
Veterinary Technician
Lynne graduated from the Medical Institute of Minnesota in 1982. After working in the Shoreview area for many years, she accepted a position with Shoreview North Oaks Animal Hospital in 2004. {Read More about Lynne}
Marissa
Veterinary Technician
Even as a small child Marissa knew she wanted to work in veterinary medicine. She grew up in east central Minnesota, and attended college at North Dakota State University. After graduation, she started her career as a veterinary technician in Roanoke, Virginia. {Read More about Marissa}
Karla
Veterinary Technician
Karla joined the team at Shoreview North Oaks Animal Hospital in November 2019. She has been working as a certified veterinary technician in specialty practice, general practice, and pre-clinical research in the metro area since graduating from Ridgewater College in 2003. {Read More about Karla}
Anna
Veterinary Assistant
Anna has had a passion for caring for animals for as long as she can remember. She was overjoyed to join the team at Shoreview North Oaks Animal Hospital in fall of 2020. Anna was born and raised here in Minnesota and resides in Blaine with her family and Labrador mixed breed dog named Georgia Peach. {Read more about Anna}
Caroline
Veterinary Assistant
Caroline joined our SNOAH family in May 2023. She studied ecology and evolutionary biology at the University of Tennessee before moving to Minnesota in fall of 2022. She is currently a student in the class of 2026 at the University of Minnesota College of Veterinary Medicine, chasing her dream of being an “animal doctor” when she grows up {Read more about Caroline}
Emma
Veterinary Technician
Emma grew up in the Twin Cities of Minnesota and has always had a passion for animals and spending time outside. She graduated from the Veterinary Technician program at Ridgewater College in 2022 and started her career in veterinary technology at the Shoreview North Oaks Animal Hospital.
Norm
Resident Clinic Cat
Norm is the newest edition to the Shoreview North Oaks Animal Hospital. He enjoys a good stretch, greeting families, and keeping the staff company.
